Elevators equipped with automatic doors often experience various malfunctions in the door system, which can affect the normal operation of the elevator. Taking the XPM elevator, which is currently widely used, as an example.

The elevator cannot close or open the door.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① Control circuit fuse 1RD, 2RD or door machine circuit fuse 11RD is too loose or blown, tighten or replace; ② The transmission belt of the door machine slips, tighten the belt or replace it; ③ The door motor DM is damaged. The DC voltage between multimeter M3 and M4 is 110V, but the door motor does not rotate. This indicates that the motor is damaged and needs to be repaired or replaced; ④ The RMD resistor of the door machine is broken and not connected. Replace the RMD resistor; ⑤ Individual connection terminals (M1, M2, M3, or M4) of the door motor circuit have become loose and detached, and tightening them ensures smooth circuit flow; ⑥ The key cannot open or close the door at the base station. If the 22 and 24 points are short circuited and the elevator closes the door, or if the 22 and 32 points are short circuited and the elevator opens the door, it indicates that the DYK contact of the key switch outside the hall is poorly connected or broken. If there is poor contact, it can be cleaned with anhydrous alcohol and the contact spring plate can be adjusted; If the contact is broken, replace the DYK.

After arriving at the station level, the elevator door does not open.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① The secondary door opening limit switch 2KM is damaged, causing the door opening relay JKM to not be powered and the elevator to not be able to open the door. Short circuit points 38 and 01 have been checked and confirmed to be able to open the door, indicating that 2KM is damaged and needs to be replaced; ② Relay JKM is damaged and needs to be replaced; ③ If there is a malfunction in the electrical circuit of the door opening, such as the normally closed contact of the operating relay JYT not being connected, it should be resolved; ④ The permanent magnet relay (commonly known as the reed switch) in the door opening area is damaged, causing the door opening control relay JMQ to fail to engage and its normally open contacts to remain disconnected. The relay JKM cannot be powered and cannot open the door. Therefore, the permanent magnet relay in the door opening area should be replaced.

3. Press the door close button, but the door does not close.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① If the AGM contact of the door closing button is poor or damaged, short-circuit two points 23 and 24 for inspection and measurement, and then repair or replace them; ② The third level door closing limit switch 3GM is damaged, causing the door closing relay JGM to be unable to receive power, and the elevator cannot close the door. Short circuiting the 28 and 01 points for inspection and testing shows that the door can be closed, indicating that the 3GM is damaged and needs to be replaced. ③ The door closing relay JGM is damaged and needs to be replaced; ④ The door opening relay 1JQ is damaged, and its normally open contact 1JQ is still disconnected. JGM cannot be powered, so the door cannot be closed. Replace relay 1JQ.

The elevator has received the floor selection signal and the door is closed, but it cannot be started.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① The car door is closed in place, but the car door interlock switch KMJ is not connected, and the door lock relay JMS cannot be powered, so it cannot be started. Adjust or replace the switch KMJ; ② The hall door is not closed properly, the hall door interlock switch KMT cannot be connected, and the door lock relay JMS cannot be powered, so it cannot be started. If it does not work, the door speed or door lock switch KMT should be adjusted; ③ The door is closed properly, but the door lock switch KMT has malfunctioned. Please troubleshoot or replace the door lock; ④ Running relay JYT has a malfunction, repair or replace JYT.

5. The door is not closed, and the elevator can select a floor to start.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① The door lock relay JMS is stuck and unable to release, troubleshooting and replacing the relay JMS; ② Door lock switch KMT contact adhesion (door lock of micro switch), eliminate or replace the door lock.

6. The elevator suddenly stopped while in motion.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: The door knife collides with the door wheel, causing the lock arm to disengage, the door lock switch KMT to disconnect, the door lock relay JMS loses power, the elevator immediately stops, and the door lock roller and door knife position to be adjusted.

7. The door opening speed remains unchanged.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① The first level limit switch for opening the door is damaged by 1KM, and the switch should be replaced by 1KM; ② The branch resistor RKM for opening the door is broken and not connected, and the resistor RKM should be replaced.

8. The closing speed remains unchanged.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① If the first and second level limit switches 1GM and 2GM of the door are damaged, replace them; ② The door closing shunt resistor RGM is broken and not connected. Replace the resistor RGM.

9. Slow door opening and closing speed

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: If the door opener belt slips, tighten the belt.

10. The door leaf vibrates greatly when opening and closing the door.

Maintenance and troubleshooting methods: ① The door pulley is severely worn, replace the door pulley; ② If the door guide rail is deformed or loose, correct the door guide rail, adjust and tighten the guide rail; ③ If there is too much dust or debris in the sliding groove of the sill, which hinders the sliding of the door, the sliding groove should be cleaned; ④ The two rollers of the door lock are not tightly attached to the door blade, resulting in a large gap. Adjust the door lock.
