Common problems in elevator maintenance process
(1) The elevator accident rescue was not timely. The disorderly and varied maintenance levels of elevator repair companies have resulted in delayed elevator rescue. At present, there are many elevator maintenance companies in China, but due to improper market management, the maintenance level of each company varies greatly, and their emergency response capabilities are poor, which makes it difficult for many maintenance and construction units to arrive at the maintenance site in a timely manner after receiving elevator faults, thus missing the best rescue opportunity. In addition, a large number of maintenance units do not develop emergency plans in advance and often make temporary personnel arrangements only after receiving notification. This has seriously affected the progress of rescue efforts.
(2) The elevator maintenance market is chaotic. With the acceleration of urbanization in China and the widespread use of elevators in urban construction, the demand for elevators in the market is also increasing year by year. At the same time, it has driven the rapid development of its maintenance units, but the quality of elevator maintenance services varies greatly. This is mainly reflected in the fact that many companies do not have professional maintenance technicians and do not have necessary equipment and maintenance quality assurance systems. In addition, some companies lower their repair prices in order to create profits or win customers, but cut corners and use inferior materials during repairs.
(3) The quality of the elevator maintenance team is not high. With the increasing demand in the elevator maintenance market, many elevator maintenance companies have also been established. This has led to an increasing market competitiveness in elevator maintenance and repair, while the economic benefits have decreased significantly. The phenomenon of many professional maintenance technicians leaving their posts is increasing, but elevator maintenance construction units do not attach enough importance to the training of professional technicians, and many new employees have low professional skills and incomplete understanding of elevator safety performance, resulting in slow maintenance progress.
(4) Elevator users lack awareness of maintenance and upkeep. Although there are clear regulations in our country that require maintenance work to be carried out every 15 days during the use of elevators, detailed explanations and emphasis have been given on the maintenance content. However, a large number of elevator users have not carried out maintenance work on time according to the prescribed content. Not even performing maintenance and upkeep work once a month. Some users, in order to cope with inspections by relevant units, only conduct rough checks on elevator safety during the inspection process, which can easily overlook some safety hazards that exist during elevator operation.
